Archiving of relating information of the accident at the Tokyo Electric Power Company, Incorporated Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station

Yonezawa, Minoru

Senmon Toshokan, (273), p.23 - 27, 2015/09

BB2015-1688.pdf:1.2MB

The Library of Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) has developed the special website on Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Station accident and started the website from April 4, 2011. This website disseminates over 23,000 bibliographic and full-text records, such as JAEA's research results, academic journal articles, conference papers, technical reports etc. JAEA library started to collect and prepare bibliographic information of Internet information of Japanese Government-based organizations, TEPCO as well as of oral presentations of responsible nuclear related Associations in regard to the accident not to be disappeared, inaccessible. And we organize this information by classifying with Taxonomy for Nuclear Accident which was developed by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). We launched the Fukushima Nuclear Accident Archive in June 2014. In this paper, the author introduces the experience in developing special website on Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Station accident as well as Fukushima Nuclear Accident Archive and issues to develop the archive and future plan.

Pulse based data archive system and analysis for current and beam loss monitors in the J-PARC RCS

Hayashi, Naoki; Hatakeyama, Shuichiro; Yamamoto, Kazami

Proceedings of 5th International Particle Accelerator Conference (IPAC '14) (Internet), p.3800 - 3802, 2014/07

The data archive system in the J-PARC 25-Hz Rapid-Cycling Synchrotron (RCS) records the beam intensity and the beam loss monitor (BLM) pattern for all pulses. The system is based on the common memory and utilizes the timing system of the J-PARC. Although its time resolution is limited, it is useful to detect rare events or phenomena appearing with only higher accelerator repetition. Using these data, the stability of the beam intensity, particularly ion source or the relation between BLM patterns and its causes can be studied pulse-by-pulse basis and it would make use of future improvements.

Development of EPICS system for 3NBT proton beam monitor system

Oi, Motoki; Meigo, Shinichiro

JAERI-Tech 2005-025, 52 Pages, 2005/03

JAERI-Tech-2005-025.pdf:3.28MB

In the J-PARC 3GeV proton beam transport facility (3NBT), proton beam profile monitor, halo monitor, loss monitor and proton current monitors are used as proton beam monitor. The electric signals from these monitors are converted to digital signal with ADC on CAMAC modules and monitoring with EPICS system through CAMAC controller CC/NET. At the 3NBT proton beam monitor system, these are monitored with frequency of 25Hz and all of these data are archived. In this report, we develop the EPICS system for 3NBT proton beam monitors and confirm the performance of the system. As a result, we can monitor and archive these proton beam monitor signals at 25 Hz with CC/NET and EPICS.

Activities, issues and future plan of the Fukushima Nuclear Accident Archive (FNAA)

Yonezawa, Minoru

no journal, ,

The Japan Atomic Energy Agency constructed "Fukushima Nuclear Accident Archive (FNAA)" and started its operation in June 2013. We started to develop FNAA in order to support R&D activities related to Fukushima Nuclear Accident and started to collect information of Internet information from government, etc as well as research results presented at related conferences. We cooperate with Web Archiving Project (WARP) of the National Diet Library (NDL) and make use of the Nuclear Accident Taxonomy developed by the International Atomic Energy Agency. We also cooperate with databases inside/outside Japan to increase access route to FNAA. We send metadata of FNAA to NDL Great East Japan Earthquake Archive (HINAGIKU) and International Nuclear Information System (INIS). Activities, issues and future plans are reported.
